Added Ability to Hide Cut Types
Wednesday, March 5, 2025
A new setting has been added to the Cut Types page to allow you to hide and show cut types as needed. This can be used if you have some one-off cuts that only apply to a handful of orders. It can also be used as a "delete" feature should you no longer offer an old cut type, and it can be used without negatively affecting past orders.
If you set a field to "hidden", no data will be lost for any old orders that contain details for that field. If you edit an old order, print the cut sheet, or print the invoice, those details will still be there.
If you duplicate an order that contains a hidden cut type, the details will NOT be duplicated.
The form to add new and edit existing cut types has also been updated to make the fields clearer and easier to understand. Features such as "locking" cut types or setting up the additional settings for venison have all been combined into one form, so everything is in one place.
